Support for International Students

At KNU, we provide a welcoming and comprehensive support system to meet the needs and circumstances of our international students.

The Center for International Affairs

The Center for International Affairs is an organization composed of various research advisors. It is responsible for developing nutrition-, food- and health-related technical training overseas, promoting the recruitment of international students and academic exchanges with educational institutes around the world.

International Office

The International Office is a bureau of the Center for International Affairs. It is a focal point for the admission of students from overseas and provides support to non-Japanese speaking-students after enrollment. The International Office is located on the 1st floor of Building 6 on Sakado Campus, and is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Wakaba Dormitory

The dormitory is available for female students only. It is located one minute on foot from the KNU campus and is close to both a shopping mall and the railway station. If you are interested in applying for the dormitory, please contact the Student Affairs Office on Sakado Campus.

Financial Aid/Scholarships

International students with outstanding academic grades are given the opportunity to apply for scholarships.
The following financial aid/scholarships are available for international students applying to the graduate school.
For details regarding the criteria and qualifications for the scholarships, please contact the Student Affairs Office.
